At Stone St. Mary's Church of England Primary School we believe in working in partnership with parents. This means you will be fully involved in the education of your child.

 

Each year your child's teacher will discuss with you what is going on in the classroom and how best you can be involved in the education of your child.

 

You will be asked to support us in ensuring our school promotes Christian values and has strong links with our Parish Church in Stone and the local community.

 

You will also be asked to work with the school in encouraging your child to accept responsibility for his/her behaviour and to develop a positive attitude to learning.

 

We welcome parents supporting learning in our school and assisting on educational visits. All volunteer parents will need to have the necessary Criminal Records Bureau checks.

 

There will also be opportunities for you to support the school through fund raising events. F.O.S.S. (Friends of Stone School) organises our fund raising events and the committee welcomes fresh ideas and is always looking for parents willing to help at events.
