Hi, I'm Dan and I have 2 children in the school, as well as my wife who teaches at Stone St Mary's. I have spent my entire working life within education, both as school staff or as an external provider. I am passionate in all children having equal opportunities to achieve.

Mrs Pem Hulusi - Co-Chair to Full Governing Body

                           Pay Comittee

The school is the hub of any community, and for me, it was personally important to support our local community through the next generation.

I helped develop the first industry holiday hunger charity, Meals & More, supporting children outside term time in recent years. Learning loss, cognitive support is a passion of mine, and it is vital to allow every child the opportunity to thrive.

“I am the Rector of Stone, I have been in the post since 2004 with involvement on the governing body all that time. I play a part in the pastoral care of staff and families and represent the ongoing partnership with the parish church (St Mary the Virgin, Stone) which founded the school."

Loice Gachara-Mwangi - Resources Committee

I have served on the Full Governing Body as a Co-opted Governor since and Vice Chair for Finance Resources Committee since May 2019.   I have worked in Financial Services sector for 17 years as an auditor specialising in providing assurance to the Board Audit Committees over the effectiveness of governance, risk management and controls over current, systemic and evolving risks. I have been able to utilize my skills gained in auditing to support the FGB on matters related to governance, controls and finance.  I am also passionate about diversity & inclusion and as an active member in my community, helps young people develop the skills they need to succeed in future careers through delivering life skills such as work experience and mock interviews. Outside of work, I love baking wedding cakes.

I am an active participant of St Mary’s Church, Stone; being a member of the Parochial Church Council, the Parish Safeguarding officer, a Server, member of the Pastoral Team and bell ringer.

Mrs Lisa Prince – Staff Governor

My name is Lisa Prince, I am the staff governor for the school. Stone St. Mary’s has been an important part of my life for many years now. Both my sons attended the school and I worked as a volunteer. Once my children had moved on to secondary school. I was lucky enough to secure a position as Kipper Class Teacher. I am very proud to work here and believe that the school ethos, vision and values ensure that Stone St Mary’s school is an amazing place to be part of, as a pupil or staff member.
