Welcome to Stone St Mary's CE Primary School

Our school Christian vision is

‘Caring, Growing Shining Together’

which helps us to ensure that our pupils are able to experience and continue to experience ‘life in all its fullness’. Taking inspiration from the Good Samaritan (Luke 10: 25-37) we make extra effort to care and look after our school community. We do this through being kind and forgiving to one another. We aim to grow our knowledge and understanding like fruit on the branches of the true vine (John 15:1-11). We strive to be the best that we can be in all that we do, and we shine our light before others so that they can see and value our achievements (Matthew 5:13-16).

  Our Christian Values

A Rights Respecting School

where everyone strives to treat others

how they wish to be treated.

School Reports

We aim to provide a safe environment in which the well-being

of all our children is the highest priority.

We ensure safeguarding risks assessments are undertaken.

We are active members of the Dartford Schools Association, the Thameside Consortium and the Gravesend/Dartford Church Schools Group as we believe in TEAM work.

Together Everyone Achieves More

CEOP works with child protection partners across the UK and overseas to identify the main threats to children and coordinates activity against these threats to bring offenders to account. They protect children from harm online and offline, directly through NCA led operations and in partnership with local and international agencies.

If we get really heavy snow and you think the school may be closed please tune into

The School Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Please take care of our school family.

Shine your lantern of light into our dark corners and guide
us through each day.

Help us to think of others before ourselves, to take care of
our learning home and to keep our school rules.

Fill our hearts with your love and surround us with
your peace so that we may become more like you.

A thought for us all

Children Learn What They Live

A child who lives with criticism
learns to condemn.
A child who lives with hostility
learns to fight.
A child who lives with ridicule
learns to be shy.
A child who lives with shame
learns to feel guilty.
A child who lives with tolerance
learns to be patient.
A child who lives with encouragement
learns confidence
A child who lives with praise
learns to appreciation.
A child who lives with fairness
learns justice.
A child who lives with kindness and consideration
learns respect.
A child who lives with security
learns to have faith.
A child who lives with approval
learns to like himself.
A child who lives with acceptance and friendship
learns to find love in the world
