Finding Our Voice: Mike Dodsworth’s Oracy Day
We were thrilled to welcome storyteller Mike Dodsworth for a magical oracy workshop.
From a tale of three lost sisters to a brother’s incredible journey using a key that unlocks anything and a hat that can take you anywhere in the world – our pupils were completely captivated!
The workshop ended with a powerful masterclass in confident public speaking, inspiring children to find their voice and share their stories.
Next stop: school finals! 
Our young speakers will now refine or create presentations, with winners earning a place on a special summer-term excursion before presenting to a panel of judges in Term 6.
This is about so much more than speaking – it’s about building confidence, creativity, and lifelong communication skills.
