Geography
Here at Stone St Mary’s C.E. Primary School we study geography to ensure there is an enriched, fuller and wider curriculum. Geography influences the children at this school as they learn about their local and wider world surroundings. The learning will help your child if they wish to travel, become weather reporters or even pilots of our future. The skills that underpin their learning go as far as compass directions to map reading, again all skills that will link to life skills.
Our vision and values within this school link well to our overall teaching of geography, ensuring collaboration, perseverance in a safe and caring environment where the child is able to grow in their knowledge and skills.
